3D Work
This is a culmination of all the work I've done on various parts of the 3D pipeline, including modeling, texturing, animation and even lighting/rendering.
Lost in Space Robot B9 (Model, Texture & Render)
This is a model & render of Robot B9, the Robinson family's robot from the TV show Lost in Space. Its design is has a very "vintage sci-fi" look to it, and I wanted to model it to see if I could mimic the look well and strengthen my hard surface modeling skills. I later took some skills I built up with texturing, lighting and rendering and created a scene with the robot that was rendered out through Solid Angle's Arnold renderer. My goal with the render was to create a sandy looking planet that felt different than Earth, so I made it darker and gave it a reddish sky. My goal with the textures was to make the robot and his spaceship look like they'd been through a few sandstorms on the planet, establishing the kinds of conditions they faced there.
Star Wars A-Wing (Model & Render)
This is a model of an A-Wing, a spaceship from the famous Star Wars mythos. It was made by myself and two other modelers, I worked on the exterior parts, such as the ship's body and its guns, as well as the inside view of the back part of the cockpit. The renders we made were some of the first I did within Arnold, Solid Angle's new renderer built into Maya.
Character Model Showcase (Model)
These are the character models I put together for the Wildfire short film. They include 3 of the 4 main protagonists of the film. They would all be set up to the same rig, shown below.
Character Rig Showcase (Rig)
This is a character I rigged for the Wildfire short film to show my skillset at the rigging pipeline. It has a full joint system, clean paint weights, IK handles, and various controls to make it easier to animate.
